Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Scan

A Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scan is an imaging test that allows a doctor to check for diseases in the body, specifically cancer. The scan uses a special dye containing radioactive glucose tracers. Once ingested, the glucose molecules go crazy as they interact with the solution. Cancer feeds off of glucose, so if you wish to avoid or fight cancer, don’t play with it, feed it or sustain it!  #AvoidSugar #JustSayNoToSugar #NoSugar
